Washing day, and then morning tea before shopping and into Cowra, and onto the Japanese Gardens.
A perfect day to do so, not too hot, and not wet and windy, the gardens are a credit to the organisers.
Again there are more photos, especially for Fiona in Japan, and because my granddaughters have been to Japan and loved it!
I didn't manage to walk the whole circuit, as the paths were all on a slope, and my brain doesn't tackle that very well. The result was my legs feeling like jelly, and I got the shakes.
Lunch and a nana nap followed.
Before we visited the gardens, we visited Breakout Meats, to check out if we could buy this meat online, or in Queensland. Craig would order a half a side if possible, but they only sell to butcher shops and not into Queensland. So that was a bit sad, but we did have Cowra lamb for dinner.
John and Mary visited the Railway museum, and I have caught up with my Tripadvisor reviews. Bet I don't get an offer of an upgrade from Bathurst, but as someone in the accommodation industry, it is far better that people know what they are facing if they choose that property. For those wanting to caravan it to Bathurst there is no alternative.
So just to prove that I killed the cockroach, and that the cockroach bait traps are in existance, here they are. The cockroach was on our bed.
The cabin was so bad, and so in need of maintenance, that they have a hide to charge $130 per night.
Travellers should also be aware that there is no way that this is a 3 star place, as I know how the Star system works.
Our site, 4 days after we were flooded. Any wonder we were so cold. Big 4 should sit up and take notice of my email. Not only that, but there were 5 vans with large vehicles that parked in our street over the 5 days, every one had difficulties. Not one person from management came around after the storm to check if their guests were okay. Simply not good enough.
